All convictions of Trump associates were for crimes like lying to investigators, financial misconduct, or obstruction, not direct evidence of a conspiracy with Russia. And as you are well aware the whole thing started because Obama wanted Hillary in the White House to continue his disastrous agenda. Then good ole Hillary took it upon herself to have Christopher Steele write the completely fabricated “dossier”. Very good article. The problem is that this describes both before and after Comey. Grand juries were designed to protect the innocent. Now, the secrecy is designed to rubber-stamp the government's prosecutions. We need to use open preliminary hearings. No more secrecy since the grand juries' rubber-stamps do not protect the defendant. The prosecution needs no protection, the defendants do. All constitutional rights for criminal defendants are designed to protect them, which is why prosecutors so often try to skirt around constitutional protections. That is also why the courts have weakened the jury sysrem.
For a few of us, your post is the logical conclusion from the actions observed.

For me, it’s just another sign of the acceleration of the ratcheting downward that’s been the goal all along, that I’ve noted step by agonizing step for decades, which when voiced were often met with ridicule, derision, and declarations that I was taking it all “way too seriously”.
