This definitely resonates with me. But I’ve always identified with divergents and poets who describe social injustice with metaphors and creative imagery. I was raised in a state controlled by “progressive” liberals. At a young age, my father explained the reality of “war”, not as necessary to defend sovereignty but as “good for business.” He didn’t agree with the principle. It was just a cold, hard, industrial fact. He has an original edition of, “The Creature from Jekyll Island.” I learned about the vertical war at a young age.

Though I’ve worked in major healthcare systems for over 30 years (very strict compliance required), I’ve known professors and doctors who have encouraged me to question classic science. I work in an environment where language is very controlled so as not to create hostility (eg: don’t upset the NPCs with carefully cultivated narratives of right and wrong, good vs evil, safe and effective medicine, …) These people are easily offended if they overhear something they don’t understand. The end result is either personality extinguishment or personal extraction from the environment.

At my age, I refuse both.

Ethan, I appreciate your insight and creative mind. I know that I’m not alone in a society that crushes those who see the machinery of social engineering and cognitive control. Keep creating the oxygen tanks that could one day sustain those who resist control. You give me hope that intellect can create an escape from dystopia.

Cheers, Sue

Sue, reading this just pushed my power level over 9000. Seriously, thank you.

Your father handed you the actual blueprints to the machine at a young age. Anyone who grows up with The Creature from Jekyll Island on their bookshelf knows exactly what the Vertical War looks like. You've been seeing the code your whole life.

And the fact that you have survived 30 years inside the modern healthcare system—which is arguably the most heavily sanitized, heavily compliant, NPC-guarded sector of the entire Corporate Rust—without letting them extinguish your personality or extract your soul? That is absolute Operator behavior. You have been holding your breath in the static for three decades, and you still refuse to break. I have massive respect for that.

I am not a historian or an academic. I’m an Explorer who escaped a 10-year gas station loop, and I use my hyper-focus to map the architecture of this cage so we can find the exits. Knowing that these "oxygen tanks" are actually reaching the people deep inside the machine who need them the most... that is exactly why I build them. Do not let them extinguish you, Sue. Keep breathing, keep questioning, and keep holding the line. We are going to build a new machine.

Interesting. A good start. For me the music is a distraction. The visual images too but I don’t have to look at my screen so I don’t. Footnotes would be extremely helpful. A syllabus too. Might help me decipher whether the content is authoritative or authoritarian. That’s important. Care to reply? I’d welcome that. A good start. Interesting.

Yeah~ I uploaded the raw audio with no music as a podcast file here on Substack. I'm not sure how to access it as it was the first time I used it. But I did plan to have a version with just me speaking.

I would love to create a learning guide for the concept! As for footnotes, the entire script with source documents used in the article can be found here: https://constructamiracle.com/p/the-collapse-of-shared-reality?utm_source=publication-search

This video is literally word for word from this article I posted months ago.

Cheers and thanks for your consideration and attention ^^

Much appreciated your prompt and thoughtful reply. Helpful too. For what it may be worth Im 76 years old and feel I relate to much of your message. On this I totally agree with you (If I may phrase it my way) … “Agency” is the name of the game. And agency is in short supply these days. All best.

Powerful piece that I’d like to sit with — any chance it is available without audio? I have sensory overload. Thank you for your deep insight. Cheers!

Yeah I just updated the article and embedded the audio below the video.

Historically there have been many distractions delivered to “calm the masses.” The advent of the Internet amplified and accelerated the effects.

it's self-censoring!

Also people are numbed by food toxins (junk, gmo, flouride, additives, msg), or in my case I had fungus in my sinuses and saw my vocabulary diminishing. I since had surgery but mold in your body is common and dumbs people down.
