Unfortunetly his cognitive decline is so bad and rapid that he will most likely be a basket case and not able to be incarcerated. Republicans are getying ready to jump ship after MTG made her announcement. They all brought it.on themselves. As kids you were taught you never give into a bully. But what did you all do? And you will have to live with that on a personal level. To think that you actually believed your way was going to work and get you into a good place. Should have listened to your parents!!!
I'm thinking a kind of see-saw effect between these kinds of larger forces and individual enigmas, in whatever form these have taken on either side of the playground. One of my favorite quotes is from Voltaire: "God is not on the side of the big battalions, but of the best shots." But that sorta puts a focus onto a struggle between "good" and "evil."
Currently in the US, there is a huge struggle regarding who gets exclusive rights to calling themselves completely and totally "good." (Meaning crudely, that anyone placing themselves even remotely outside of the "winning" shield is completely and totally "bad.")
The brilliant (come on, he got to the pinnacle at least twice) but openly flawed and unapologetic Trump stands like a lightening rod in the middle of the mayhem. The enigma powering the narratives on all sides, that pushes everything forward and calling the shots against what some call "the deep state blob." Throughout history, many such cases.
Yes he's a scale on the snake's back, completely dependent on the head of the snake for survival. Addicted to the power money and adulation provided by the head of that snake🐍 . (As are many other tacticians and addicts of the same "drug" / "strategic overlord ")
