They Think You're an Idiot
They think you're an idiot.
The guys on TV, the politicians, the whole media machine—their entire job is to keep you angry at your neighbor. They want you yelling about Republicans. They want you screaming about Democrats. They want you to pick a team and fight to the death.
Why?
Because while you're busy fighting the guy next door, they're robbing the whole neighborhood blind.
They tell you it’s impossible for regular people to agree on anything. They say the country is too divided. That's the biggest lie of all. The division is their product. It's the smokescreen they use to hide the real crime.
What’s the real crime? It's that the people in charge of both parties are all part of the same club. And you and I are not invited.
Don't believe me? Let's look at the receipts.
When a Republican is in the White House, who does he put in charge of the country's money? A guy like Steven Mnuchin, a 17-year veteran of Wall Street giant Goldman Sachs. He spends four years cutting taxes for his corporate buddies, then walks right back out to start a new multi-billion dollar fund.
Then, when a Democrat is in the White House, who does he put in charge? A guy like Brian Deese, who walks out of the Obama White House and straight into a top job at BlackRock, the company that owns more of the world than anyone. After he learns their secrets, he walks right back into the government to run the economy for Biden.
Do you see the game now?
It's a revolving door. They put on a red jersey or a blue jersey for a few years, but they all work for the same team: the team of the rich and powerful. They write the laws that make your life more expensive and their lives richer. They bail themselves out with your money. They ship your job overseas.
And all they ask of you is that you keep hating the other half of the country.
It's time to stop playing their game. It's time to realize that the person struggling next to you—no matter who they voted for—is not your enemy. They are your ally. They are a hostage, just like you.
The real enemy is the small club of people who own both political parties and think you're too stupid to notice.
It's not Left vs. Right anymore. It's The People vs. The New East India Companies.
