The problem with most so-called Holy Books - including the Bible - is that any Word of God has been systematically re-written by Man! The Bible is no doubt 85% Man written. God is the Universal Force of Unconditional Love so it's easy to pick out the bits that are not from God. Anything that is vengeful, domineering, judgemental, misogynistic, prejudice and downright nasty is NOT the word of God. At least we know that.
