Explorer, amazing I found all patent shit doesn’t interest me at all! But in 2010 I had brain surgery, my team were amazing give me all the information I needed to survive recovery. I am now a walking and talking fill the blanks if all the bullshit that comes out of the pharmacy, the physician and will not listen until they prove me wrong, which is never. But the horror stories about anyone with brain injuries are crazy! I used to be a professional compcontroller, but you know, I am much tuned in. On a 10-point scale from “the world is perfect” to “tin-foil hat”, your perspective appears to be 2 points further right. Peg me more at the “deep work and eudamonia machine meets Essentialism plus psychitecture” point.
I include some elements I don’t yet see in your architecture, as cognitive aids for memory (Second Brain - like a digital Commonplace Book) and Third Brain (AI for augmented thinking), as well as a similar “Filter Engine” to deskew the attention/focus-sucking digital surface.
We all have our own limitations/strengths on the various dimensions of focus, distractability, goal-orientedness, motivation, and so forth. Our solutions should be tailored to our individual needs and what goals and outcomes we want for ourselves.
Not all the world is evil, but an awful lot of it is clamoring for attention, and our useful focus time each day is limited, and is perhaps our most valuable life asset to spend - whether investing or wasting it away.
Better tell me the purpose of the essay and then because my life does not live in tech nor neuro chemistry do a bit of definitions of terms including organizations and Tue it to some application that reflects your point- bud, I do not think like you do- teach me why this is pertinent- and give me an example of who is implementing it- examples of ways it is implemented every day
I believe this is the problem in those who have years of learning computer programs but then have some difficulty transposing it to me a person who knows how to learn but needs to be taught - and lack understanding that others do not have their model of thinking in their own heads- they have acfufferent model -
I’m reflecting on the statement that we have become too reactive so as not to notice the prison that surrounds us. This is so true of these trying political times we are in. A few oligarchs are spinning a web that most of this country is getting stuck in. We have two choices, if the unbelieving are correct, the believers only die as a fools. But if the believers are correct, then unbelievers could face serious consequences as stated in the Bible. So the choice is ours. No one including God forces us to make either choice.

Quantum computing will not destroy viability of cryptography for a simple reason - quantum physics carries inside it another mechanism to secure communications - quantum cryptography built from it already exists. Secondly the current dominant technology of asymmetric crypto has only ever been *provisionally* secure, since any day someone can invent a rapid factorisation algorithm. This has been known for all the decades since RSA, Hellman, Cocks et al invented public key crypto principles.
That’s why open source hardware is an absolute must for any “technologically free” future. This was made clear to me when a lecturer on itsec handed me a copy of that famous Ken Thompson paper on compromised compilers. Ironically that was at Monash Uni - one of the major research centres on quantum.
Thorvalds should have used his institutional power to push an opensrc hardware movement instead of incremental os improvements.
And to consider what Christians have said. That Trump is the saviour of America and even of the world, which in effect eliminates Christ. Jesus Christ is coming back with the wrath of God to try the earth. And will be more severe for those that believe it, much more than on unbelievers. Statements like this just create more unbelievers instead of bringing people to Christ.
One thing I believe is true Jesus never require a membership fee to make a comment. I have a fair amount of complaints on the state of Christianity today. When Franklin Graham says that Trump was sent by God, just creates more unbelievers.
