I love this idea and we need to use a similar model to fight this regime. Taping the receipts for the public and press to see was a great idea. I have said over and over we need a think tank of experts including our allied countries to send experts from all areas of expertise to fight this regime by doing what these people did, which was bringing experts together and brainstorming and then implementing the plans!
As a country that suffered greatly from fascism we developed strategies and wrote books on „how to not let fascism reign again ever“… but it seems we are too decentralized, also …😥

Facism is on the rise everywhere… we have to act fast and fourious.
And bold and courageous.
During a time when the consciences of those newly recruited ICEists are still functioning at least a little bit… and they would not run over a blockade of 50 sitting people (in Europe the glued themselves to the ground… for climate-awareness…saving actual people is on a different level and bears more personal risk-I get it)
But the members of the white rose DID help actual people during Nz-time!
And the freedom flotilla DID help the Palestinians get free space to their own see back for a couple of days. They could go to the shore and start fishing with nets by foot! They could harvest fish and thus food for some people for some days.
So all this to say: bold and courageous engagement is necessary and helping directly! Go for it, patriots of the american spirit (the good one-not the greedy one, this one has to be put out of the playing field once and for all! How about some good old laws to make greediness a no go?
Manager wages should be cut to a reasonable size.
Donations to parties could be forced by law to stay under 20.000$, thus making lobbyism non functioning…
No Kings-new laws-for the people. 🫶

First, this was a very well written story. I love the format you used. The story line kept building.
The whole story was so wonderfully positive! The way the owner kept his prices fair and made such good an effort to be concerned about his community. No wonder he was so loved and appreciated. Then came the nasty relative. Unfortunately we’ve all got one. Jealous of another’s success. How ruthless. But like a feel good movie 🍿, the people came to the owners rescue. Oh no, they weren’t havin it. So what did they do? The rallied around their friend and thought of such creative ways to fight back! Well show them.. So they took ACTION ( my fav phrase)!! Damn right they did! And then, the happy 😃 ending. They did it! They ran him right outta Dodge! The beloved owner got his store and his loyal customers couldn’t have been happier. The end.
This was an incredibly well written, feel good story. You are a very talented writer Ethan. A natural born storyteller. I can’t wait to see more content like this from you.😊 PS: I know there’s a sad part 2 but let’s just enjoy part1 for now. Well done Ethan !👍
