I’ve been at this for a few decades. I speak Mandarin. I’ve got a Physics degree. I understand IT at many levels. Look at the Apex Big Tech companies and their recurring subscription based software licensing model that never lets you own software that doesn’t require updating and continual payments. Look at Big Tech vacuuming the data you create in “their software” to train their AI systems. Look at the footers of legal disclaimers of webpages of Enterprise Software companies. What kind of person makes a career out of working for decades in Big Tech while this continues?
Look at the persistent and bold espionage by agents of the Chinese Government, including American business leaders, silently transferring USA Government financed intellectual property from our national list of assets. Look at business leaders hiring replacement technology workers, primarily from India, via H-1B. Look at remittances from the USA to the countries of the H-1B employees. Look at the USA importing food from countries whose food we don’t need and which lacks our food safety measures, while exporting our home grown food, perhaps even exporting some of our most nutritious food, while giving us food in a box.
The intellectual terms are Universalism (Globalists, all are equal) vs. Parochialism (protect your family and those closest to you). Parochialism is the default human state, same for all animals. Universalism funnels control and capital to a small multinational group who know how to control the weakest to defeat the moderately strong. Universalism is tied into academia, banking, media companies, multinational institutions, and leftist governments. Parochialism is pre-1965 USA, which fortunately hasn’t been completely erased. You know Parochialism when you see social order, lack of litter, and considerate social behavior. Most importantly, Parochialism is the sole protector of our Constitutional Rights and Freedoms.
I agree that there’s only a handful of governments that are Parochial. Japan, Taiwan, and Norway are prominent examples. I’ve spent considerable time in Taiwan and have seen and admire the Taiwan Government’s parochial, pro-Citizen nature. I have also spent substantial time in China and have seen but do not admire China’s parochial nature with a lack of basic human rights. After 2014, I have declined to return to China.
Most of the problems we’re discussing come from a lack of respect for basic human rights, a turn of events for America, but status quo for China since 1949 and earlier. The Globalists and Multinational companies mostly lust for China’s methodical and highly granular level of Citizen control, and these Globalists and Multinational companies should be publicly shamed for this anti-human behavior. We should emphatically push back against all such restraints on the USA and American Citizens.
Any overseas worker who comes to the USA is not in your Parochial circle who will defend your way of life. Our way of life is both admired and yet entirely foreign to anyone from a non-Parochial, anti-human governed country. As a Christian I can care about human beings from any country, but the lack of assimilation once that person moves to the USA disturbs the Parochial interests, of my circle and for posterity, and that disturbance is unwelcome.
“Workers of the world unite” is not going to align any foreign born person to supporting American Parochial interests. People who were educated in formerly Confederate States use different terminology to refer to the American Civil War.
From my perspective, Christian standards such as the Seven Deadly Sins are a relatively neutral way to unite Americans, yet some groups of Americans may still push back. If we had social cohesion in America right now, it would be easier to get the foreign-born to assimilate, but we do not, and hence my desire to promote and cultivate shared American parochial interests.

But there’s a problem (rust) whereby ‘SYSTEMS’ reward certain behaviors over and over until those behaviors dominate.
A corporation rewarded for maximizing quarterly profits. A hospital rewarded for billing efficiency. Politicians rewarded for fundraising and media attention.
None of the incentives were necessarily created to harm people. But over time the systems can produce outcomes that feel exploitative, dehumanizing, AND unfair.
