It's the best system of economics to encourage innovation & creativity in creation of goods & services to the common man. It brought us the wheel, the steam engine (& then railroads), space exploration, the automobile, computer systems, the light bulb, farm tractors, and countless other things, and greatly enriched America.
The predatory counterfeits are the opposite of the real thing. Know & love the real thing.

Capitalism was born out of the 3 iterations of the Black Death that killed 60% of the population of the known world, and broke the back of feudalism, as skilled workmen could sell their ideas & labor in an open market, instead of everything being owned by a feudal lord.
America itself has been the epitome of that urge to innovate, sell, rent, develop the product of human ingenuity, & the willingness of others to buy those inventions. True capitalism is a win-win overall.
But the globalist cronyism we see now is an aberration, a counterfeit, not the real thing. Unfortunately, no one is teaching real capitalism now, so most people don't even recognize it when they see it.
