Substack doesn't have a native tool to search by exact subscriber count, but you can find massive publications by checking the 'Leaderboard' under the 'Explore' tab or looking for accounts with 'Bestseller' checkmarks. I am not a young tech savvy millennial ~ I am an old white lady retired social worker and if I’m reading this in any way that is close to what you are saying it reminds me of “don’t comply to fascists in advance”.
It could be a metaphor with so much that is wrong with our new paradigm ~ no unions (or rights) /isolated in different disciplines / “better them than me”/ etc etc the Bezos Zuck drain ~pull them in rip them off an keep steamrolling on (until nothing is left but billionaires and robots)🤖
I spend too much time staring at my dashboard but not as much as i once did. I finally figured out that "it is what it is". What topics seem to get traction and which ones don't? there is no way I can post every day so what day draws the most eyes. Does it even matter...maybe I'm just doing this for me and no one else. The horizontal/vertical idea is gaining traction. I am beginning to see it mentioned by more and more writers...now if readers would figure it out. Keep up the goo work my friend.

To answer your question: No, X is absolutely not a 'safe place'. It is a highly toxic, rigged environment. But I don't abstain from it, because purity doesn't win wars; it ends them.
