Just watched an in-depth podcast about Dalton, Georgia where the Whitfield County Board of Commissioners (how our Counties are run, not by or for the people) voted 3 to 2 (the Chairman cast the deciding vote) FOR a “data center/cathedral” against the wishes of all people who turned out to oppose it. The people against the proposal packed the meeting and it was standing room only. All citizens speaking that night unilaterally were opposed. But the Chairman chose not to listen the people that night. So construction has begun.
The podcast documented the PFAS (forever chemicals) in the soil, the waters and most importantly, thru blood tests the people of Dalton which was done by the carpet industry who knew full well that these chemicals were contaminating the environment and humans. So people had already been burned by the carpet industry. So this Cathedral proposal is just another example of how their lives could be affected and they stood up in numbers and said NO.
The last two paragraphs above, about “building alternative, localized, offline infrastructure today…” refers to some specifics given on other sites, right?…
At least these data centers will be easy for our military to blow up when we finally have the great awakening.
