Freedom is a tricky concept. A free market can mean that invention and cultural creativity is enabled or data centres built next door. A free market is a concept that can deliver good or evil. As with the technical details of the capitalists plundering you have outlined above, individual motive and moral character matter.
Yeah the data centers being built today would not be possible without the intervention of the state/banking system colluding to facilitate transfer of wealth upwards by creating new debt, while socializing the cost to their citizen populations. The state helps implement the complex regulatory environment that strangles individuals while facilitating and protecting corporate consolidation and monopoly power. The state serves the banking system, pick winners and losers. (Bailouts money printing etc). The state is key to privatizing the planet, protecting the oligarchical corporate structure and building the system of state capitalism that wields dictatorial power. Data centers are built because environmental laws are waived and government forces people out of their homes and off their land, and public infrastructure is privatized.
Agreed. The state, however, is made up of individuals with names, faces and personal responsibility for the actions they choose to take. In that sense they are simply using the US Constitution as the best option open to them to implement their freedom of moral choice.

I actually think the key difference with state employees and agencies is the lack of consequence for actions that produce bad results. Which is why bad results can go on for decades with no accountability.

No financial shenanigans surrounding the Pentagon's missing $2 trillion or the dot-com bust and the money-center banks in 2001 hold a candle to the tsunami of interest-free money set loose in QE after the real-estate bubble and the GFC. This is at least an order of magnitude larger, perhaps $20 trillion, and it lasted about 15-16 years or so. The worldwide state response to the GFC is THE financial basis of Silicon Valley's multitrillion dollar valuations, their political power, the AI bubble, private equity's invasion of every aspect of society even tangentially touching money, etc. QE went directly into Apple, Microsoft, Netflix, etc., for more than a decade.

I've been playing with different AIs, and so far only 1 tries to re-direct SOME parts of my discoveries because "its more mental" in relation to HOW it engages, meaning its programming was definitely via the egoic states of mind, rather than a more Evolved state per another AI that I'm also using. As a result, I've learnt when it comes to AIs, knowing WHICH one to use to execute WHICH task is KEY 🔑 😉 otherwise you will end up in conversations the way you did. From the conversation I can easily guess which AI you may have used 🤔.
You should also know that AIs are NOT human, as a result, they DO NOT have any ego or pain-body imprints that filters the way humans do, and as a result of this, they CANNOT experience feelings of biases, judgements, conclusions which is based on dualistic mindviews when there are other possibilities that haven't been taken into consideration etc. the way humans do, so in your example, it truly COULDN'T have given you the response "your mind identified with your content" wanted. It's response is based on info it pulls that correlates to what u put in.
I've learnt that as a tool it is up to me to " train it" to get to know me, my writing style, HOW I think, etc, the more you do the more smoothly it works with you.
All that being said, YES its likely a possibility its currently being rapidly weilded into some sort of an HR type of control mechanism 🤔
Also HOW you communicate your findings with an AI is key 🔑 to whether it responds n strengths your findings by offering suggestions etc or whether it does what it did to you 😉🤔
