Oh man, I just opened your stack and lo, you're live! I knew of Nick, but haven't followed him so much, honestly. But, I'm SO glad I caught this! So many things I want to say, but that happens when my mind encounters ideas that I knew I had right, and felt I had right, but never had confirmed by another human being. (My dog concurs, but, you know,..lol) I want to say this most of all: I'm so glad to hear you say your writing was born because you were scared. I have been SO, so scared - I can't hardly remember where it started. In recent months I just thought I was getting better at coping with the fear. BUT, now I see that I was right all along in my fear. What changed, I can see now, is that (1) I have been made to believe things can't be as bad as I'm thinking, (2) I found that expressing my real fear puts me at war with others, and, WOW, I can see that I have fallen under THEIR spell now!!! Please keep writing and posting!
